Director: Syed Asif Imam has BS in Computer Sciences from Ryerson University, Toronto. By profession, he is a Senior technology specialist with leading financial institution in Canada. Specializes in risk management technology for government compliance requirement regulated by OSFI (Office of Superintendent for Financial Institution) and International regulatory bodies. Syed belong to a moderate religious family but his personal interest in seeking the truth of religious practice and his own belief led him to IIPC’s association.
Syed contributions to several not-for-profit charitable organization has always been recognized such as “CIBC Breast Cancer Charity Events”, “RBC Blue Water Initiatives”, “Research Study for EKG at Peter munk cardiac center, Toronto General Hospital” and “Heart & Stroke Foundation”. Syed has also been engaged with IIPC organization in a volunteer capacity. On behalf of IIPC, Syed has helped organized Inter-faith lecture sessions at University Of Toronto – Queens College in Ontario and Red Deer College in Alberta. Additionally, he has contributed in several annual conventions such as “Journey of Faith”, “Reviving the Islamic Spirit”, “Annual ISNA Convention” and many others that helped IIPC advanced its presence in Canada.
